Wednesday Afternoon Update...
  • The number of evacuees housed in San Antonio area shelters continues to decrease as many find alternative housing and employment. One of the ongoing needs will be for transportation. Although San Antonio has an excellent mass transit system, many of the evacuees will still need to get to locations not serviced by Via.

  • Blood-n-Fire could still use some volunteers in serving food to local, state and federal law enforcement personnel out at Kelly USA.

If you would like to assist in meal preparation or simply serving in the Blood-n-Fire Kitchen Trailer, please call Mark Roye: 210-274-6545 or e-mail: bloodnfiretexas@earthlink.net
Please check this site regularly. Changes happen quickly as needs shift.

Please e-mail any questions, suggestions, etc. to the Alamo City Christian Fellowship at worship@alamocity.org

Or feel free to post a comment right here on the blog. (If you need help in being able to post a comment, please click here.)

James 2:15-17 "If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, 'Go in peace, be warmed and filled,' without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."

Matthew 5:14-16 "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
