Tuesday Afternoon Update...
  • According to the Chaplain's office at the Windsor Park Mall Shelter, the San Antonio Baptist Association is offering Chaplain Training Classes this week. Classes are scheduled from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. tonight (Tuesday, September 13), Wednesday night and Thursday night. Classes are being held at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church located at 963 SW 40th Street, San Antonio, TX. The telephone number is (210)433-5636. Please call that number to verify class time, location, etc.
  • As of today, the number of evacuees in the Windsor Park Mall Shelter has lessened to just over 1000.
  • Since yesterday, Alamo City has been involved in some meetings on the subject matter of "sponsoring displaced families." Please pray for the leadership of the Holy Spirit as these possibilities unfold. Keep checking this weblog for developments.
  • In the Sunday Evening Update (from September 11) we told you about Jason, a new-born grandson of Windsor Park Mall Chaplain, Paul Worley. Jason is scheduled for heart surgery day after tomorrow (Thursday, September 15). He was born just last Saturday. Please pray.

Please check this site regularly. Changes happen quickly as needs shift.

James 2:15-17 "If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, 'Go in peace, be warmed and filled,' without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."

Matthew 5:14-16 "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
