Monday Afternoon Update...
- The Blood-n-Fire Kitchen Trailer has arrived in San Antonio!
This trailer is a fully functioning, self-contained industrial kitchen! It is being loaded this afternoon over at the Blood-n-Fire Warehouse and then heading over to Kelly USA.
If you would like to assist in meal preparation or simply serving in the BnF Food Trailer, please call Mark Roye: 210-274-6545 or e-mail: bloodnfiretexas@earthlink.net - We have received word from Chaplain Ronnie Adams office that a decision concerning future Chaplain Training Classes has been made. The quota of Chaplains needed in the San Antonio area shelters has been met.
Therefore, there will be no further classes offered at this time. - If you would like to donate Bibles to any of the shelters, please contact the Chaplain's office at each particular shelter to find out what their needs might be.
For instance, the need at the Windsor Park Mall Shelter is for LARGE PRINT Bibles. Also, please donate either brand new or at least gently used (not marked in or worn) Bibles.
Please check this site regularly. Changes happen quickly as needs shift.
Please e-mail any questions, suggestions, etc. to the Alamo City Christian Fellowship at worship@alamocity.org
Or feel free to post a comment right here on the blog. (If you need help in being able to post a comment, please click here.)
James 2:15-17 "If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, 'Go in peace, be warmed and filled,' without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."
Matthew 5:14-16 "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
