06-13-07 Kenya Post

6:00 a.m. Kenya Time

Well, it's Wednesday morning here and everyone is still asleep in their tents. I was unable to post anything last night because the Internet was down here at the Lukenya Getaway.

So, here's the post:

Tuesday was another incredible day!

We arrived at the JESUS. Hobbs House of Hope Orphanage and went right to work again on the two chicken houses - affectionately dubbed, "The Hilton" and "Motel 6."

Later on in the morning, Chris Dillashaw and some of his group from Crossbridge Community Church (who are here with us from San Antonio) led out in a Pastor's Conference. Billy Honc spoke at a Masai Church Service which was held on the Hobbs House of Hope property. In the afternoon, two different groups went to two schools to share the gospel through skits, songs, and testimonies.

All in all, a very long and profitable day!

Today, Wednesday, a small group of us plan to walk the cross through Kitengela Township to share the gospel and encourage believers. Others will continue the construction work on the orphanage. I believe there is also to be another presentation an area school.

Please join us in praying for His kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven! It should be another glorious day!

We love you all and are praying for the service tonight back in San Antonio.

Greetings Mission Team! What a blessing to be able to share what is going on over there with us back here at home. Great picts & stories! The Lord is using all of ya'll well! ***

I lift all of y'all up to our Mighty, Loving Lord!
Heavenly Father, we thank you for all that you are doing in the lives of our folks and the Africans as well. We thank you Lord, that You put it in their hearts and made provision to go and do what they are doing. I pray Lord that everyone keeps in Your Will Father, and not their own. I pray that they do not get in Your way. I pray that they are the instruments, not the sound, the flute and not the music. They are as clay in Your hands. I pray for courage for them, Father, to move forward for Your Kingdom, in spite of their fears, to face the tasks that they have been given. I pray Your Full Armor, God, to go against the schemes of the enemy. Your Word tells us that these are spiritual battles, not of flesh, Lord. We bind them in the name of Jesus, the name above all names. Please convince their hearts of Your truth. Give them the discernment of lies. Help them with Unbelief. We pray for those who not know You Lord. Open their hearts, We know you have a plan for them too Lord, Give them Grace to seek and trust no matter what they see ahead. We thank you Jesus for what You are doing and that they get all that is needed to done, completed. We pray for their safety as they return home to us, and for the next group that is going, that all will arrive on time, in the right place and with everything they need, for Your Glory Lord.
In the sweet name of Jesus I pray,
And all God's children said... AMEN!
Love you guys and gals!
PJ :)

Greetings team,
I tried to post this a few days ago but had problems.
I believe the Lord gave me a verse for you
Psalm 2:8 Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession.
This is the Father speaking to the Son, Jesus our Messiah. But we are also the Body of Christ and joint-heirs with Him. So I believe we can ask for this same inheritance of the gentiles or all the people groups of the world that need Jesus including the beautiful Kenyan children and adults you are ministering to.
So I believe the Lord put this word in summation for you:
1. Ask Boldly of the Lord
2. Ask Big-ask largely of the Lord for His Kingdom sake
3. Ask Believing-ask in faith of Him for which nothing is impossible

The Spurs won their third game in the series last night in Cleveland which is great. But it’s greater to say you are all champions on the Father’s winning team!
Blessings,
Van Mabrito

Let everything that hath breath Praise the Lord!
We thank Him that He will accomplish the things that concern us. Rest assured that He has evertything mapped out and rest in His ability to complete what has been started. Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends, john 15:13 Glorify Him.
