Kenya "land of massive diversity"

	Kenya is right at the heart of safari country - the word ‘safari’ comes from the Swahili for ‘journey’.
	Kenya is a land of massive diversity – with the most diverse collection of wild animals in the whole of Africa and over 120 different ethnic groups. Over the years the government has favored the Kipsigis peoples and marginalized everyone else – which has only fueled greater levels of ethnic division and violence.
	The death rate in Kenya continues to soar as the HIV/AIDS spreads – 14% of the adult population are infected.
